I’m a writer, editor, video producer and presenter based in Japan, where I’ve lived and worked for more than two decades. I currently serve as managing editor at GPlusMedia, overseeing sites like Japan Today, GaijinPot and Savvy Tokyo, and supporting their editorial teams in covering daily life in Japan — whether you’re living, traveling or working here.

I’m the host of Japan Today Spotlight, a weekly YouTube video series that digs into the news behind the headlines.

This site is a home for my own projects — especially Japan Today Spotlight. Here, I tend to cover everything from Japan’s political maneuvering and media culture to societal shifts, pop trends and infrastructure issues.
